aisa tou nahi ki humko koi bhi khushi nahi
tum bin mager yeh jindagi, jindagi tou nahi
mar kar bhi nibhayenge teri kasam ko sanam
apne dil ka haal tumhe kabhi batayenge nahi.
likhna jo chaha, ashk mere sayahi ban gaye
zazbaat mere dil ke yaron shayari ban gaye
kis kadar mazak uda tamanna-a-dil ka
hasrat-e-dil ke afsaane mehfil mai gungunaye gaye
vo bewafa sahi, hume hai aitbaar
rang layega kabhi hamara intazaar
nazarein jhuka ke jate hain unke samne
kahin dekh na len vo hamare ashk beshumaar.
mahek mahek uthi tanhaiyan mere ghar ki
raat unki yadon ka silsila aisa chala
hum bekhayal khayalon mai muskurate rahe
kab raat dhali, kab khawab toote, pta na chala
mere masoom dil par tumne kyu dhaya sitam
tode saare khawab kyu tumne beraham
har pal tumhe khushiyon ki saugaat mile sanam
tanha dil fir deta hai dua kyu mere humdum.
